Kabir Satsang Ceremony (15.01.2021)

Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, Dhamtari, organized a two-day Kabir Satsang Ceremony in Gram Perewadih. The event featured a spiritual gathering of saints and a community feast (Bhandara).
During the ceremony, the organization’s president highlighted the legacy of Sant Kabir Das, describing him as a great poet, scholar, and a prominent figure of the Bhakti Movement. His couplets and poems continue to be popular among people even today. The event saw active participation from women, contributing significantly to the success of the satsang.

COVID-19 Awareness Campaign

Observing the increasing spread of COVID-19 in rural areas, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, Dhamtari, launched an awareness campaign to educate people about precautionary measures and safety. The campaign emphasized that awareness and vigilance are the best ways to prevent COVID-19. The organization urged people to get vaccinated and encourage others to do the same. The president of the organization appealed to everyone to wear masks, avoid crowds, and maintain social distancing to keep themselves and their families safe.
Additionally, during the lockdown, the organization distributed free ration, vegetables, masks, and sanitizers to underprivileged rural families. Sanitization drives were conducted in village communities. Volunteers also organized community learning sessions for primary school children to ensure their education continued despite school closures.

World Environment Day Celebration

On June 5, 2021, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, Dhamtari, organized an environmental awareness campaign and a cleanliness drive in Gram Perewadih and Sidhauri Khurd village. The campaign emphasized the vital role of the environment in human survival, highlighting how nature has provided essential resources to humankind since ancient times.
The awareness program addressed the adverse effects of environmental pollution, including radioactive contamination, ozone layer depletion, soil erosion, rising temperatures, air and water pollution, deforestation, and the emergence of new diseases.
The organization urged people to take responsibility for environmental conservation and adopt measures to reduce pollution. The event aimed to educate villagers on sustainable practices and promote collective efforts to protect and preserve nature for future generations.

International Yoga Day Celebration

To highlight the importance of yoga in life, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, Dhamtari, celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21, 2021, in Gram Dahi. A community yoga session was organized, where students and local representatives actively participated.
Yoga is essential for both physical and mental well-being. It is an invaluable ancient practice that has stood the test of time. While the benefits of yoga are well known, its significance grew even more during the COVID-19 pandemic, when people were confined to their homes and experienced increased stress. During such times, yoga played a crucial role in maintaining mental peace and physical health.

Farmers’ Conference & Seminar

On August 1, 2021, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, Dhamtari, organized a Farmers’ Conference and Seminar in Gram Parewadi. The event focused on improving and increasing agricultural and horticultural production for small farmers and ensuring collective benefits for them.
Hon’ble MLA Ranjana Sahu graced the event with her presence and addressed the farmers, encouraging them to adopt modern and organic farming techniques for better yields and sustainable agriculture.
Additionally, the Department of Agriculture, Dhamtari, conducted a detailed presentation using a projector, explaining various advanced farming techniques, soil health management, and efficient water usage to help farmers enhance their productivity.
The organization is actively working to connect farmers with the Government of India’s FPO (Farmer Producer Organization) Scheme, helping them gain better access to markets and resources. Awareness was also raised about the harmful effects of pesticides, and all farmers were encouraged to adopt organic farming practices for a healthier and more sustainable future.

“A New Beginning” Program

The “Walk for Global Health with Peace” program was organized by Brahma Kumaris Sankara, Dhamtari. On this special occasion, the President of Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization was honored for his social service and remarkable contributions.
After receiving the honor, the President shared his thoughts and provided detailed information about the various service initiatives undertaken by the organization. He reiterated the organization’s commitment to society and highlighted its work in water conservation, cleanliness drives, tree plantation, health awareness, education, and farmer welfare.
The event conveyed a message of peace, health, and service, inspiring positive change in society.

Teacher’s Day Honor

On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization organized an honor ceremony at the community hall of its adopted village, Parewadih. The event recognized the selfless service of doctors, nurses, Anganwadi workers, Mitanins, teachers, journalists, and social workers who played a crucial role during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the motto “Seva Parmo Dharma” (Service is the highest duty), the organization honored these frontline warriors for their dedication and contribution to society.

Corona Warriors Honor

On Teacher’s Day, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, Dhamtari, honored former soldier K.P. Sahu for his service to the nation and contribution to youth development. He joined the Indian Army in 1995, served for 16 years, and played a role in the 1999 Kargil War. After retiring in 2011, he became a teacher and is currently the Principal at Government High School, Devpur, Dhamtari.
Even after leaving the army, he continues to instill discipline and patriotism in students. With a strong commitment to youth development, he has provided free training to over 300 aspirants, helping them join the Army, Police, and Paramilitary Forces. In 2019, he successfully recruited 55 youth into the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization recognized his dedication and contributions and encouraged him to train and guide youth in their army recruitment programs.

Addiction Eradication Survey

To assess the prevalence of substance abuse (tobacco, gutkha, alcohol, and other intoxicants) in Dhamtari city, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization conducted a door-to-door survey across various wards. The survey was strategically planned to include representatives from all sections of society.
Based on the findings, the organization formulated an action plan to launch an anti-addiction campaign and awareness initiatives to address the issue effectively.

World Water Day Awareness Campaign

On March 22, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization conducted an awareness campaign in Parewadi to educate villagers about the importance of water conservation. Residents took a pledge to use water responsibly and contribute to its conservation. The event included speeches on water conservation, cleaning of rivers and ponds, and discussions on maintaining a balance in water usage.
Children, youth, and elderly participants were educated about efficient water use and the need to protect natural resources.

Organization Meeting

A meeting was held at the Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization office to discuss the objectives and upcoming action plans. Key officials deliberated on various social programs and projects, focusing on education, health, women empowerment, and environmental protection in the coming months.
Discussions included enhancing transparency and efficiency, implementing new measures, and strategizing funding, resources, and collaborations. The importance of collective efforts was emphasized, and a decision was made to provide training to volunteers for better execution of initiatives. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to bringing positive change through its projects.

Traditional Games Organized on Hareli Festival

On the occasion of Hareli, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh, in collaboration with Gram Panchayat Parewadi, organized traditional games like tug-of-war, coconut throw, horse race, and musical chair at the village Gauthan. People of all age groups participated enthusiastically, with significant contributions from local committees and villagers.
The event aimed to preserve Chhattisgarh’s cultural heritage through traditional sports. Organization officials appreciated the participants and emphasized the importance of keeping such traditions alive.

Workshop & Training Program

On August 25, a workshop on self-evaluation and SWOT analysis was organized at IT Academy, Kurud, Dhamtari. The organization’s head explained in detail the methods of evaluating both the organization and oneself. Participants were guided on identifying their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
The workshop emphasized that self-assessment helps individuals recognize their capabilities and limitations, leading to self-improvement. It was highlighted that SWOT analysis is not just limited to businesses and organizations but is also highly beneficial for personal development.
Through real-life examples, participants learned how SWOT analysis can help in career, education, and various aspects of life. The session encouraged self-reflection and strategic decision-making for better personal and professional growth.

Blood Donation Awareness Campaign

The Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization conducted a blood donation awareness campaign at Bathena Hospital, Dhamtari, where members Rajendra Sahu and Mukesh Sahu donated blood on August 19.
The initiative aimed to educate people about the importance and health benefits of blood donation, emphasizing that one donation can save three lives. The campaign highlighted that blood donation is a voluntary, simple, and beneficial process, promoting the habit of regular blood donation in society. The organization encouraged people to view blood donation as a noble and life-saving act to ensure timely availability for those in need.

Govardhan Puja Celebration

On the occasion of Govardhan Puja, the NGO organized a celebration at the Gauthan in Parewadi village. Local residents and devotees gathered to worship Lord Krishna and praise the significance of Govardhan Parvat.
The event focused on cow worship and their well-being, emphasizing the message of protecting nature and living beings. The melodious sound of the flute echoed throughout the event, creating a divine atmosphere as people participated in the traditional rituals.
The NGO also highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and cow service. This event served as a significant step in strengthening community bonds and fostering respect for natural resources.

Akhara Sammelan

A grand one-day Akhara conference was organized in Semra B village on the occasion of Bhai Dooj. The event featured sword fighting, martial arts, staff combat, and demonstrations of various traditional weapons. Performers mesmerized the audience with their swordsmanship, while participants showcased their precision in staff combat and target striking, thrilling the spectators.
The highlight of the event was participants fearlessly crossing a ring of fire, displaying remarkable courage and dedication. The use of traditional weapons provided a glimpse into the historical and cultural heritage.
This event played a crucial role in preserving and promoting rich traditions and martial arts. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the performances and praised the organizers. The NGO honored the Akhara team with mementos and certificates in recognition of their outstanding display of skills.

Cultural Program & Felicitation Ceremony

On November 20, 2021, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization organized a grand cultural program and felicitation ceremony in its adopted village Parewadih. The event aimed to introduce the younger generation to their cultural heritage and encourage their talents.

The program featured various artistic performances, including music, dance, drama, and poetry recitation, captivating the audience with the participants’ exceptional skills.
The felicitation ceremony honored individuals from different fields, such as doctors, journalists, teachers, soldiers, folk artists, Mitanin health workers, women commandos, talented students, entrepreneurs, and social workers for their contributions to society.
The event was graced by Dhamtari MLA Ranjana Sahu, Janpad Vice President Avnendra Sahu, and MP Representative Umesh Sahu, who appreciated the initiative and motivated the youth to drive positive change in society.
By recognizing excellence in social service, education, and arts, the event highlighted the significance of cultural heritage while inspiring young individuals to explore and develop their talents. Kabaddi Tournament Organized

Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization successfully organized a State-Level Kabaddi Tournament in Gram Seldip, Kurud, Dhamtari, from December 23 to 24, 2021. The tournament aimed to promote traditional sports and encourage young athletes to showcase their talent and dedication to the game.

Several teams from different regions participated, displaying exceptional sportsmanship and competitive spirit.
The event concluded with a grand award ceremony, where outstanding players and organizers were honored with mementos and certificates in recognition of their performance. Esteemed guests graced the occasion and felicitated the winners, offering them their best wishes for future endeavors.
The recognition and appreciation not only boosted the morale of the players but also inspired them to strive for excellence in their sporting careers.
