Kabir Satsang Mahotsav
We observe Kabir Satsang Mahotsav with spiritual songs, discourses, and community prayer. Devotees gather to reflect on the teachings of Saint Kabir, promoting love, peace, and equality. The event encourages inner awakening and social harmony through the timeless wisdom of Kabir’s verses.
World Water Day
We observe World Water Day on March 22 to raise awareness about water conservation. Through rallies, workshops, and interactive sessions, we educate the community on the importance of safe drinking water and sustainable usage. It’s a step toward ensuring water security for future generations.
International Yoga Day
Every year on June 21, we celebrate International Yoga Day by organizing mass yoga sessions for all age groups. Participants come together to learn and practice yoga, promoting physical health, mental peace, and spiritual well-being. It reinforces the importance of holistic living.
Holi Celebration
Holi, the festival of colors, is joyously celebrated with color play, music, and shared sweets. We promote harmony and inclusion by encouraging everyone in the community to participate. The celebration emphasizes love, unity, and the victory of good over evil.
National Youth Day
On every 12th of January, Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, we observe National Youth Day by organizing motivational sessions and youth-led programs. It inspires young minds to contribute positively to society and follow the ideals of strength, service, and self-realization. The day celebrates youth power and potential.
Swami Vivekananda Jayanti (Youth Day)Celebration
On January 12, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, Chhattisgarh, organized a lecture series program in the Seldip Kurud region of Dhamtari district, focusing on the thoughts and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. His inspirational quote, “Arise, awake, and stop not until the goal is reached,” motivated and enlightened the attendees. Swami Vivekananda emphasized social service, self-reliance, and youth empowerment. The program highlighted the importance of adopting his ideals and teachings to bring about positive social change. Speakers stressed the relevance of Vivekananda’s thoughts in today’s era and urged the youth to embrace his values in their lives.
World Forestry Day
On March 21, 2023, a tree plantation program was organized in Dahi village to mark World Forestry Day. The event witnessed active participation from local residents, school students, and social service members. Various trees, including Neem, Peepal, Mango, and Tulsi, were planted to promote environmental conservation and highlight the importance of vegetation. During the event, discussions were held on plant care and protection. All participants collectively took a pledge to preserve nature and contribute to a cleaner environment.
Hareli Festival Celebration
On July 17, 2023, the Hareli Festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Pariwadih, Dhamtari, with special support from the Chhattisgarh Government’s Culture Department. The event featured a vibrant cultural program that included traditional folk music, dance performances, and local art displays. Among the highlights were Panthi Nritya and Suva Nritya, which showcased the deep-rooted cultural heritage of the region.This festival provided a platform for local artists to exhibit their talent, fostering awareness and appreciation for Chhattisgarh’s traditions. The support from the Culture Department played a crucial role in revitalizing and preserving the state’s rich cultural identity. The event successfully promoted regional heritage, community participation, and cultural pride among the attendees.
Govardhan Puja Celebration
On the occasion of Govardhan Puja, the NGO organized a celebration at the Gauthan in Parewadi village. Local residents and devotees gathered to worship Lord Krishna and praise the significance of Govardhan Parvat. The event focused on cow worship and their well-being, emphasizing the message of protecting nature and living beings. The melodious sound of the flute echoed throughout the event, creating a divine atmosphere as people participated in the traditional rituals. The NGO also highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and cow service. This event served as a significant step in strengthening community bonds and fostering respect for natural resources.
Saraswati Puja Festival
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization organized a grand Saraswati Puja celebration, bringing together students, teachers, and esteemed members of the community. The event featured ritualistic worship of Goddess Saraswati, with prayers offered for wisdom, knowledge, and intellect. The program included devotional songs, cultural performances, and inspiring speeches, where students shared their thoughts on the importance of education and the role of Goddess Saraswati in Indian culture. The puja venue was beautifully decorated, and devotees paid homage to the Goddess by offering flowers and seeking her blessings. Additionally, educational and literary activities such as essay writing, poetry recitation, and painting competitions were organized. Winners were honored with certificates and awards, further encouraging students to excel. This initiative by Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization symbolized culture, education, and dedication, inspiring the youth to walk the path of knowledge and creativity.
Elderly Honor Ceremony
On October 1, 2022, an Elderly Honor Ceremony was organized in Dahi village, Dhamtari, to recognize the contributions of senior citizens. The elderly were honored with shawls, fruits, and gifts as a token of respect. They were also informed about healthcare services, emphasizing the importance of care and respect for senior citizens. This event raised awareness about the need to support the elderly and highlighted their valuable role in society.
