ALVA Foundation Meeting – Raipur
On May 7, 2024, a meeting of the ALVA Foundation was held in Raipur, attended by ALVA Foundation President Hemshankar Jetmal, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization President Yashpal Sahu, and other members. The discussion focused on collaboration and joint efforts in social initiatives. Members of Vatsalya Srijan shared their thoughts on youth empowerment, while ALVA Foundation deliberated on future plans to strengthen cooperation. Shri Ayodhya Ji Pilgrimage
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On May 13, 2024, members of the NGO Committee visited Ayodhya for a spiritual pilgrimage and had the divine darshan of the magnificent temple of Lord Shri Ram. The committee members thoroughly enjoyed this religious journey, experiencing a deep sense of peace and devotion within the temple premises. They reflected on the significance of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, absorbing the spiritual energy of the sacred site. During the pilgrimage, the members shared their religious and cultural experiences, expressing their reverence for this historic and holy place.
Career Guidance and Motivation Program
On May 26, 2024, a Career Guidance Camp was organized at Government High School, Devpur, under the initiative of Sahu Sangh Parikshatra, Jhiria, District Dhamtari. The event aimed to provide students with valuable insights into various career options and inspire them to work towards a bright future.
For this special occasion, Yashpal Sahu, the President of Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, was invited as the keynote speaker to deliver career guidance and motivation to the students. Addressing an audience of 300 students, he elaborated on diverse career opportunities, the challenges involved in different fields, and the strategies required to achieve success. His motivational speech instilled confidence, enthusiasm, and a sense of determination among the students, encouraging them to pursue their dreams with dedication and perseverance. Blood Donation Camp
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On June 3, 2024, a Blood Donation Camp was organized in Raipur under the leadership of Coordinator Gangadhar Sahu. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from young individuals who came forward to donate blood, demonstrating their sense of social responsibility. Many young donors actively contributed to the cause, showcasing their commitment to saving lives and fostering a spirit of selfless service. Jal Jagar Mahotsav
On June 14, 2024, the Jal Jagar Mahotsav was organized in Parewadi village, Dhamtari district, in the presence of Janpad Panchayat officials. The primary objective of this event was to educate people about the importance of water conservation and raise awareness among villagers about various methods to save water. The festival included discussions on climate change, water scarcity, and water recycling, highlighting the urgent need for sustainable water management. To further promote environmental consciousness, a tree plantation drive and an exhibition were also conducted, showcasing innovative solutions for water conservation. During the event, villagers actively participated and took a pledge to conserve water in their daily lives. Health & Wellness Center Visit
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On July 3, 2024, a visit was conducted to the Health & Wellness Center located in Barna village, Dhamtari district. This center provides primary healthcare services, maternal care, child health services, and mental health support, ensuring comprehensive medical assistance for the local community. Hariyali Mahotsav – Green Festival The center maintains high standards of hygiene and regularly organizes awareness programs to educate people about health and wellness. By offering essential medical services.and promoting preventive healthcare, the center plays a crucial role in regional healthcare development. Its dedicated efforts significantly contribute to the well-being of the local population, reinforcing the importance of accessible and quality healthcare in rural areas.
Hariyali Mahotsav – Green Festival
On August 4, 2024, a tree plantation drive was organized under the Hariyali Mahotsav at Maa Danteshwari Premises, Semra Village, Dhamtari District. The event focused on environmental conservation and increasing greenery, with Neem trees being planted to enhance the natural ecosystem. Prominent villagers, including Yadram Sahu, Nehru Sahu, and Hemlal Sahu, along with environmental enthusiasts, actively participated in the plantation drive. The planting of Neem trees was emphasized due to their air-purifying properties, which contribute to a healthier and fresher atmosphere. This initiative reinforced the importance of afforestation and sustainable environmental practices, encouraging the community to take proactive steps toward a greener and healthier future.
Hareli Mahotsav 2024 – Cultural Program

The festival featured a series of cultural performances, showcasing the traditional arts, music, and dance of Chhattisgarh. The event witnessed spellbinding performances by folk artists, who captivated the audience with their mesmerizing folk dances and musical renditions. Janmashtami Mahotsav 2024 Hareli Mahotsav not only celebrated cultural traditions but also fostered a sense of pride and awareness about the region’s artistic legacy among the people.
Janmashtami Mahotsav 2024
The Janmashtami Mahotsav was celebrated with great enthusiasm on August 26, 2024, in Semra B village, Dhamtari district. The village was filled with a spiritual and festive atmosphere as children beautifully depicted the childhood form of Lord Krishna. A special highlight of the event was the Matki Phod (Dahi Handi) competition, which added to the excitement and joy of the celebration. The success of this festival was greatly supported by the Department of Culture, Government of Chhattisgarh, which provided financial assistance and encouraged cultural performances. Their contribution helped in making the event more vibrant and memorable, fostering a deep sense of devotion and cultural appreciation among the villagers.
Cultural Program During Ganeshotsav
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On September 18, 2024, Anand Ganeshotsav and Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization jointly organized a grand cultural event featuring the renowned Chhattisgarhi folk artist and comedy king, Ghevar Yadav. During this special program, Ghevar Yadav captivated the audience with his artistic and humorous performances. His incredible act, combined with the essence of Chhattisgarhi folk music, brought an electrifying and joyous atmosphere to the celebration. In recognition of his remarkable contribution, the President honored him with a shawl, coconut, and a memento, appreciating his efforts in preserving and promoting Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural heritage.
Management Committee Meeting
On October 6, 2024, a Management Committee Meeting was held at Gayatri Temple, Magarlod, District Dhamtari. The primary objective of this meeting was to discuss the organization’s strategic plans and outline upcoming initiatives. The meeting witnessed active participation from members and office bearers, who shared their insights, experiences, and valuable suggestions. Extensive discussions were held on various social service initiatives and the organization’s future development plans. Key decisions were made regarding new projects, and responsibilities were assigned to each member to ensure smooth execution. The meeting concluded with a collective Aarti, symbolizing unity and commitment towards the organization’s goals.
Mega Blood Donation Camp
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On October 20, 2024, a Mega Blood Donation Camp was organized in Gurur, District Balod, in collaboration with Manas Seva Blood Center, Dhamtari. The event was led by Maheshwar Sahu and Jeevan Sahu, under whose guidance hundreds of individuals voluntarily came forward to donate blood, recognizing their contribution to humanitarian service. All necessary arrangements were made to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for the donors. The organizers expressed their gratitude by presenting certificates and gifts to the donors as a token of appreciation. They also reaffirmed their commitment to organizing similar initiatives in the future, promoting blood donation as a noble and life-saving cause.
Mental Health Awareness Camp
On October 18, 2024, a Mental Health Awareness Camp was organized in Magarlod, District Dhamtari, on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, in collaboration with the Community Health Center, Magarlod, and Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization. The camp featured contributions from Dental Surgeon Dr. Rashmi Bara, Block Hospital Counselor Ashwini Gaikwad, Office Staff Geetanjali Sahu, and Organization Head Yashpal Sahu. Dr. Rashmi Bara highlighted the harmful effects of substance abuse on dental health, explaining how addiction leads to tooth decay and other oral problems. Ashwini Gaikwad provided guidance on managing stress and anxiety, offering practical solutions for mental well-being. Geetanjali Sahu efficiently managed the event, ensuring its smooth execution, while Yashpal Sahu emphasized the importance of developing a positive mindset towards mental health in the community. Meeting with District Panchayat Member Damayanti Sahu
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On November 6, 2024, a crucial discussion was held with District Panchayat Member Damayanti Keshav Sahu, during which a memorandum was submitted. The meeting was attended by Patron Devnarayan Sahu, Joint Secretary Bhagirathi Sahu, and Program In charge Sheetlesh Sahu. Various issues were discussed, and essential solutions were suggested. The memorandum emphasized key problems and necessities vital for regional development and public welfare. District Panchayat Member Damayanti Sahu carefully listened to all concerns and assured prompt action to address them.
Cleanliness Campaign Program
On November 12, 2024, a cleanliness campaign was organized in Sindhouri Khurd, Kurud Block, Dhamtari District. Under this initiative, the temple, streets, squares, neighborhoods, and ponds were cleaned. Local youth actively participated in the cleanliness drive and took a pledge to keep their surroundings clean. National Tobacco Control Program
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On November 25, 2024, a Health Awareness Camp was organized under the National Tobacco Control Program at the Community Hall in Magarlod, Dhamtari District. The primary goal of this camp was to educate the community about the health risks associated with tobacco consumption. Health experts provided comprehensive information on the harmful effects of tobacco, including its role in causing cancer, heart diseases, and other serious health issues. The program also included discussions on strategies to quit tobacco and the legal measures in place to curb its use. Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Jayanti

Sant Guru Ghasidas Baba Jayanti Celebration
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On December 18, 2024, the birth anniversary of Sant Guru Ghasidas Baba was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Bhaismundi, Magarlod, Dhamtari District, with special support from the Department of Culture, Government of Chhattisgarh. The event focused on discussions about Baba’s teachings and his contributions as a social reformer. Devotees paid tribute through prayers, bhajan-kirtan, and floral offerings. Address at NSS Camp in Demar
On December 22, 2024, during the NSS camp organized by Government Higher Secondary School, Demar, Bhagirathi Sahu, the Joint Secretary of Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, Chhattisgarh, and Shitlesh Sahu, the Program Coordinator, addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of social service. Swami Vivekananda Jayanti Celebration
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On January 12, 2025, the Vivekananda Jayanti Mahotsav was celebrated in Seldip, Kurud, Dhamtari district. The event was graced by Mahavir Thakur, a pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), along with Devnarayan Sahu, the patron of the organization, Rajendra Sahu, the media in charge, and Tilokchand Jain, a social worker. The dignitaries discussed Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and emphasized the need for positive change and unity in society. Free Health Check-up Camp
On January 19, 2025, a free health check up camp was successfully organized in Parewadih, Dhamtari, under the leadership of Sheetlesh Sahu and Bhagirathi Sahu. The camp provided essential healthcare services to rural residents. Expert doctors offered medical consultations and conducted general health check-ups for the attendees. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On January 23, 2025, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Gatapaar village, Kurud Block, Dhamtari District. Organized by the Vande Mataram Committee and Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, the event brought together local residents, students, and dignitaries to honor Netaji’s legacy. The program began with a motivational lecture on Netaji’s life, highlighting his fearless leadership, contributions to India’s freedom struggle, and the formation of the Indian National Army (INA). Speakers emphasized his famous slogan, “Give me blood, and I will give you freedom,” inspiring attendees with his unwavering patriotism and strategic military leadership.
Mega Blood Donation Camp
On January 27, 2025, a mega blood donation camp was organized at Sahu Bhavan, Barna village, Dhamtari district under the joint initiative of Manas Seva Blood Bank, Dhamtari, National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, Katlabod, and Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, Chhattisgarh. In this camp, Bhupend Sahu, Yadram Sahu, Kamalkishor Sahu, Khuleshwar Sahu, along with 50 youth volunteers, donated blood.
The primary objective of the camp was to promote the importance of blood donation and encourage more people to contribute to this noble cause. All donors were awarded certificates of appreciation for their participation. The event witnessed active participation from the local villagers, further strengthening the spirit of social service. The organizing institutions have planned to continue conducting such social welfare activities in the future. This blood donation camp also played a crucial role in raising awareness about the need for regular blood donation in the community. As part of the celebration, a cleanliness drive was organized, led by committee member Lalji Sahu. Community members, students, and volunteers actively participated in cleaning public places, roads, and school premises, promoting hygiene and responsibility in alignment with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Women Empowerment Program
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On January 29, 2025, a Women Empowerment Program was organized in Gurur, Balod district, with participation from women from various sections of society. The primary objective of the program was to raise awareness among women about their rights, responsibilities, and available opportunities, enabling them to become self-reliant and play a strong role in society.
Prominent guests at the event included social activist Ekta Sahu, active member Santosh Kumar Sinha, and organization head Yashpal Sahu. They addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of women’s rights, education, financial independence, and leadership skills. Free Sewing Machine Training Program
On February 3, 2025, a Free Sewing Machine Training Program was organized in Magarlod, Dhamtari District, under the CSR initiative in collaboration with Edubridge.The primary objective of this program was to provide fundamental training in sewing techniques to women and youth, enabling them to acquire valuable skills for self-reliance and employment.
During the training, participants were taught the operation of sewing machines, different stitching methods, and tailoring techniques. The program specifically aimed to empower women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, including tribal girls and women, by providing them with skills that could help improve their livelihood and socio-economic status. As a significant outcome of this initiative, Edubridge facilitated four key employment opportunities: employment in the sewing industry, independent entrepreneurship, local job creation, and institutional collaboration, connecting trained individuals with government and private sector initiatives.
This initiative has proven to be a stepping stone for economic empowerment, equipping women and youth with practical skills that contribute to self sufficiency, financial stability, and overall community development. The organizers plan to continue similar training programs to further expand employment opportunities and skill development in rural areas.
Dhamtari Collector Literary Presentation
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On February 5, 2025, in Dhamtari, the President of the organization, Yashpal Sahu, and Co-Secretary, Bhagirathi Sahu, met with Collector Namrata Gandhi and presented the book “Bharat: Ateet, Vartaman Aur Bhavishya” (India: Past, Present, and Future) as a literary gift. During the meeting, various social and developmental issues were discussed, where the Collector appreciated the contributions of the organizations and assured her support. This meeting served as a significant step towards promoting social awareness and bringing about positive change in society.
Social Worker Felicitation Program
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On February 13, 2025, a felicitation ceremony was organized at Shri Hema Education, Tikrapara, Raipur. On this occasion, environmentalist and social worker Mr. Anil Sharma from Bhopal was honored. He was presented with literature, a memento, a shawl, and a coconut by Yashpal Sahu, President of Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, and Gangadhar Sahu, the coordinator. Mr. Anil Sharma shared his thoughts on the importance of environmental conservation and social service. The event saw the participation of numerous social workers and young individuals, making it a meaningful gathering dedicated to social awareness and environmental responsibility.
Free Sewing Machine Training Program
This program is being organized to provide free sewing machine training to women and youth, enabling them to become self-reliant. The training will cover various sewing skills, fashion designing, and the creation of household products. The sessions will be conducted by Duleshwari Sahu and Saroj Sahu, both experienced trainers who will guide participants in the right direction. Certificates will also be awarded upon completion of the training.
Farmer Awareness Camp
On February 20, 2025, a Farmer Awareness Camp was organized in Seldip village, Kurud Block, Dhamtari District. The event featured speeches by Yashpal Sahu, President of Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, Chhattisgarh, and member Hemant Kumbhkar, who provided insights into new agricultural technologies and government schemes for farmers. Other attendees included Bhupendra Sahu, Kailash Sinha, and Himanshu Sahu. The primary objective of this camp was to educate farmers about their rights and the government initiatives available for their development. The program helped farmers find solutions to their challenges and encouraged them to adopt innovations in agriculture.
Tribal Development Survey
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh On February 23, 2025, Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization, Chhattisgarh, conducted a Tribal Development Survey in Mohera, Maragaon, Panduka, Baruka, and Pod villages of Gariaband district. The survey aimed to assess the living standards, challenges, and development opportunities for the tribal communities. It was led by patron Devnarayan Sahu, president Yashpal Sahu, co-secretary Bhagirathi Sahu, and members Maheshwar Sahu and Heera Dhruv. The study focused on evaluating education, health, employment, and social security conditions among the tribal population. Based on the findings, recommendations for improving developmental policies will be provided.
Women’s Day Honor Ceremony
On March 8, 2025, an honor ceremony was organized at Shree Skills Academy, Gurur, Balod district, on the occasion of International Women’s Day. During the event, several women, including Duleshwari Sahu (Tailor Trainer from Kolihamar), Saroj Sahu (Balod), and Suman Sahu, were honored for their contributions. The program commenced with lamp lighting and a Saraswati Vandana. The chief guests shared their views on women’s empowerment and their role in society. The honored women were presented with mementos and certificates of appreciation. Expressing their gratitude, the women described the event as inspirational and pledged to continue contributing to social service.
Holi Milan Ceremony
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization Chhattisgarh The Holi Milan Ceremony was celebrated with great enthusiasm on March 11, 2025, in Gurur, Balod district. The event was presided over by Yashpal Sahu, the president of the organization, while Shitlesh Sahu and Himanshu Sahu served as the program coordinators. A special guest, Shivkumar, an official from NCEAR, Delhi, graced the occasion with his presence. Participants exchanged greetings by applying gulal (colored powder) to each other and enjoyed various cultural performances. The guests shared their thoughts on the social and cultural significance of Holi. The event concluded with a traditional Chhattisgarhi feast, which was enjoyed by all.
