One-Day Training Program on Rural Social Work and Development
The event was graced by chief guest and chairman, Yashpal Sahu, who emphasized the importance of social service and appreciated the contributions of individuals working in rural areas. During the session, new strategies and initiatives for rural development were discussed, encouraging participants to take an active role in driving positive transformations in society. Swami Vivekananda Jayanti Celebration
On January 12, 2022, Swami Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm, honoring his teachings and philosophy. Various programs were organized where students and community members reflected on his life and contributions.
Schools and organizations pledged to embrace his ideals and contribute to nation-building. His inspirational speeches and vision motivated everyone towards self-reliance and social service.
The event served as a significant occasion to awaken the youth to their life’s purpose and responsibilities.
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti Celebration
Local residents and youth actively participated in cleaning roads, streets, and public places. During the event, Netaji’s ideals and leadership were remembered, inspiring participants to contribute to nation-building. Alongside cleanliness, emphasis was placed on environmental conservation.
The event concluded with a pledge to maintain cleanliness in the surroundings. This initiative not only honored Netaji’s legacy but also served as a significant step toward spreading awareness about hygiene and social responsibility.
Saraswati Puja Festival
Vatsalya Srijan Youth Organization organized a grand Saraswati Puja celebration, bringing together students, teachers, and esteemed members of the community. The event featured ritualistic worship of Goddess Saraswati, with prayers offered for wisdom, knowledge, and intellect.
The program included devotional songs, cultural performances, and inspiring speeches, where students shared their thoughts on the importance of education and the role of Goddess Saraswati in Indian culture. The puja venue was beautifully decorated, and devotees paid homage to the Goddess by offering flowers and seeking her blessings.
Additionally, educational and literary activities such as essay writing, poetry recitation, and painting competitions were organized. Winners were honored with certificates and awards, further encouraging students to excel.

Gauthan Fair and Exhibition
On February 24, 2022, a Gauthan Fair was organized in Parewadih village, Dhamtari district, focusing on organic farming, compost fertilizer, women empowerment, afforestation, and government schemes. The primary objective of the fair was to promote rural development and self-reliance.
Farmers were educated about the benefits and techniques of organic farming, encouraging them to use natural methods instead of chemical fertilizers. Additionally, discussions were held on the importance of compost fertilizer to enhance soil fertility.
Special emphasis was placed on women empowerment, where rural women were informed about their rights and opportunities through various training programs. As part of the afforestation initiative, locals were encouraged to plant trees and understand the importance of environmental conservation.
Furthermore, information on government schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Swachh Bharat Mission was provided to ensure that villagers could avail their benefits.
The Gauthan Fair played a significant role in spreading awareness and fostering rural development, empowering the local community towards a more sustainable and progressive future.
Free Health Camp
On March 20, 2022, a free health camp was organized in Parewadih village, offering essential medical services to the villagers. The camp provided blood pressure monitoring, sugar tests, and eye check-ups, conducted by experienced doctors. More than 200 people benefited from health check-ups and received necessary medicines.
Additionally, awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and exercise were conducted. Severe cases were referred to nearby hospitals for further treatment. Such initiatives are vital in enhancing healthcare access in rural areas.
Farmer Awareness Camp
A Farmer Awareness Camp is organized in the last week of March with the primary objective of educating farmers about modern agricultural techniques, advanced seeds, irrigation systems, proper use of fertilizers, and methods to enhance agricultural productivity.
In this camp, agricultural scientists and experts provide practical knowledge, helping farmers adopt new and effective farming methods.
The camp also raises awareness among farmers about various government schemes and subsidies, enabling them to benefit from programs such as the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Crop Insurance Scheme, and Soil Health Card Scheme.
Additionally, discussions are held on identifying crop diseases, pest control measures, the importance of organic farming, and water conservation.
Biodiversity Survey
A biodiversity survey was conducted in Balod district from April to June, with teams formed to study the region’s plant and animal species. The primary objective was to identify and document the flora and fauna present in the district. The survey covered plants, birds, aquatic life, and insects, providing valuable insights into the area’s biological diversity.
Experts emphasized the importance of biodiversity conservation for maintaining ecological balance. The findings were shared to support agriculture and environmental conservation efforts. This survey highlighted the urgent need for biodiversity protection in the district and raised awareness about its importance.
Old Age Home Visit and Distribution Program
A health check-up was conducted, and the elderly were honored for their contributions to society. Members of the organization engaged in heartfelt conversations with the senior citizens and ensured that necessary resources were provided to improve their quality of life.
Such initiatives help enhance the well-being of the elderly and promote a more inclusive and supportive society.
Teacher’s Felicitation Ceremony
On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, a felicitation ceremony was organized in Semra B village, Dhamtari, to honor teachers for their outstanding contributions. The event was attended by youth, panchayat representatives, and community leaders. Members of the organization presented teachers with fruits, pens, flower bouquets, and gifts as a token of respect. This celebration highlighted the importance of education in society and recognized the dedication and contribution of teachers in shaping the future.
Elderly Honor Ceremony
They were also informed about healthcare services, emphasizing the importance of care and respect for senior citizens. This event raised awareness about the need to support the elderly and highlighted their valuable role in society.
Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti Celebration
On October 2, a rally was organized by women in Pariwadih village to commemorate Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti. The rally emphasized cleanliness, environmental conservation, and national unity, with active participation from women and youth.
The event concluded with a tree plantation drive, where participants planted saplings together.
Awareness sessions were conducted to highlight the importance of environmental protection among women and villagers.
